What is Banamine Injectable?
BANAMINE Injectable Solution is recommended for the relief of pain, reduce inflammation associated with musculoskeletal disorders and for the alleviation of visceral pain associated with colic. Banamine is used the control of pyrexia (fever) associated with bovine respiratory disease and endotoxemia, and for the control of inflammation in endotoxemia.

What are the side effects of Banamine Injectable?
There are isolated reports of reactions that are local following neck injection that is intramuscular.
These reactions include:
- Localized swelling
There have also been rare reports of anaphylactic-like reactions. Some reactions were fatal. These instances occurred namely after use that is intravenous.
There are also rare situations where develop nonfatal or fatal clostridial infections or other infections. This is primarily in relation to flunixin meglumine use that is intramuscular.
What special precautions are there?
It has not been determined if BANAMINE Injectable Solution has an effect on pregnancy. Likewise, no studies have been conducted to determine if this product can be given with other drugs concomitantly. For patients who need adjunctive therapy, closely monitor drug compatibility.
There has been no investigation into the reproductive effects of this product; do not administer to breeding bulls. This is an NSAID, and drugs in this class have shown both estrous and partnutrition cycle effects.
